Internet access is an essential service. The COVID-19 pandemic that we’re all weathering has made that abundantly clear.

As mentioned in our Ting Internet COVID-19 update and in the broader Tucows COVID-19 statement, the health and safety of our team, our customers and the community at large are our top priority. For this reason, we have canceled all Ting Internet indoor installations, here and elsewhere. We will reschedule installations as soon as it is safe to do so.

In the interim, Ting Internet, The Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce and Geek iT are working hard to ensure everyone has at least some access to the Internet. Ting and the Chamber of Commerce are supplying access while Geek iT has supplied the access point and completed the installation of it for free.

The Ting Internet Fuquay-Varina “Park and Wi-Fi” spot is:

Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce Parking Lot

121 N. Main Street
Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

Please stay in your vehicles, minimize social interaction, maintain social distancing protocols and adhere to the suggestions made by your health officials.

Bring your laptops, tablets and phones and do what you need to do online. Teleconference from the car, check in on friends and family, grab some online education resources to keep the kids going.

Again, we encourage everyone to stay home, maintain social distancing and stay safe. We’ll get through this together.

Stay well,
Todd Rubin
