Four steps to get signed in, protected, and productive.
Sign in
Go to office.com and sign in with the work email and sign-in details you were given.
Set up MFA
Install Microsoft Authenticator on your phone and follow the prompts to register it.
Install your apps
Install Outlook, Teams, and the Office apps on your computer and phone.
Turn on OneDrive
Sign in to OneDrive so your work files are saved to the cloud, not only your computer.
Good Everyday Habits
Small Habits. Fewer Problems.
- Save work files in OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams instead of only on your computer.
- Share with specific people rather than "anyone with the link."
- Use the Report button in Outlook for suspicious email instead of forwarding it around.
- Keep the Authenticator app on your phone, and tell us before you replace your phone.
- Sign out of Microsoft 365 on shared or public computers.
Unexpected MFA Prompt?
If you get a sign-in approval request you did not start, deny it. Someone may have your password. Then call Freedom Tech at 910-920-0999 so we can check your account and reset your password.
Repeated prompts are a common attack designed to wear you down until you tap Approve.
Never Send These To Anyone

Contact support before you wipe or trade in your old phone so we can move your Authenticator sign-in.
Missing Email Or Files?
Check your Junk folder first, then contact support. Deleted items can often be recovered.
