SMS Terms & Conditions

Program

These terms cover Freedom Tech Service Messages, the text-message program of Freedom Technology Partners LLC (“Freedom Tech”), a managed IT provider in Spring Lake, North Carolina. Freedom Tech sends these messages only to people who opt in.

The program is for service-related notices about a request you submitted or a service relationship you already have with us. It is not a marketing list.

Message types

Messages may include:

• Support and ticket updates
• Appointment reminders
• Service alerts, such as a planned maintenance window or a service interruption we are working on
• Account or request notices, such as confirmation that we received a form, a quote that is ready, or a follow-up about that request

Marketing and promotional messages are not included. This program does not send advertisements, coupons, or other sales promotions by text.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. It depends on your request, appointments, and service activity. We do not promise a set number of messages.

Msg & data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier’s message and data rates, if any, are your responsibility. Freedom Tech does not charge a separate fee to receive these texts.

How you opt in

On this website, opt in by entering your own mobile number on a form and checking the optional SMS consent box next to it. That box is unchecked until you check it, and you can submit the form without checking it. Checking the box and submitting the form is your consent to receive Freedom Tech Service Messages at the mobile number you provided for yourself.

A phone number you type for someone else, including a person or business you refer to us, is not consent for us to text that person. We will not treat that number as an opt-in.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to cancel. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. After you opt out, we send one confirmation that you will no longer receive Freedom Tech Service Messages at that number. We will not text that number again unless you opt in again.

You can also opt out by calling 910-920-0999 or emailing info@freedomtech.us and asking us to stop texts to your number.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Wireless carriers are not sponsors of, or affiliated with, this program. Delivery depends on your carrier and device.

Consent is not required to do business with us

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. It is not required to submit a form, request a quote, book a conversation, receive support, or buy any Freedom Tech service. If you do not opt in, we will use the email address or phone number you gave us for ordinary voice calls and email.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to opt in. You must be the subscriber for the mobile number, or have the subscriber’s permission to agree to these messages. Do not opt in a number you do not have permission to use.

Privacy

We use your mobile number and your opt-in only to run this program and to keep a record that you agreed. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with subcontractors that support the service, such as our text-messaging provider and the carriers that deliver the messages.

Changes

We may update these terms as the program or the website changes. The date below is the latest version. If a change materially affects an existing opt-in, we will tell you by text or by another contact method you gave us before we rely on the new terms.
