How to spot and report phishing, what to do if you clicked something, and what to expect from security training and alerts.
Clicked something suspicious? Call right away.
Spot It
Signs An Email Is Phishing.
Attackers impersonate coworkers, vendors, banks, and Microsoft. Slow down when you see any of these.
- Urgency or pressure: "today," "immediately," "your account will be closed."
- Requests to change bank details, buy gift cards, or send payment.
- A sender name you know, but an email address that is slightly off.
- Unexpected attachments, shared files, or sign-in pages.
- Links whose real address (hover to see it) does not match the company.
- A request to keep something secret or skip the normal process.
Report It
In Outlook, select the message and use Report (or Report Phishing). That removes it from your inbox and helps protect everyone else.

Any request involving money, bank details, or passwords should be confirmed by phone using a number you already know, never one from the email itself.

Do not enter anything else, open more attachments, or reply to the sender.
