A trial law firm on Main Street in Lillington.
Buzzard Law Firm handles criminal defense, personal injury, medical malpractice, family law and federal cases across Harnett County and eastern North Carolina.
The challenge
The firm’s website ran on a legal-marketing platform’s template. It looked like many other firms’ sites, the team page was out of date, and the firm wanted a site and articles it fully owned without losing the search rankings it had built over the years.
What the firm asked for
A site focused on its founder, Robert A. “Tony” Buzzard, that leads with the firm’s motto, gives each attorney a clear place, and makes it easy for people in a hard moment to call.
What We Built
More than a new look.
A design built on their motto
The firm’s motto, “We Fight To Win,” leads the homepage over a photo of their own foyer sign, with clear buttons to call or meet each attorney.
Live office hours
Every page shows whether the office is open right now, using North Carolina time and the federal holidays when courts close. After hours, the mobile call bar says so.
Every old link kept
More than 250 addresses from the old site redirect to the right new page, so search rankings, bookmarks and links from other sites carry over.

The firm’s blog was rewritten as original content it fully owns, keeping each article’s address and first-published date, with a unique photo for every post.
Eight free guides
Plain-language PDF guides, from car accidents to federal charges. Visitors request one with a name and email, and the firm gets the lead.
Branded emails
Contact and guide forms send emails that match the website, to the firm and to the visitor, authenticated so they reach the inbox.
Guest Wi-Fi welcome page
Clients who join the office Wi-Fi land on a welcome page with a save-our-contact card, links to the attorneys and the free guides.
Fast, secure hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare’s global network, with https everywhere and protection against bots and attacks built in.

We designed two complete options so the firm could compare real pages, not sketches.

Feedback
The firm picked one and asked for changes: a new cover photo, a button for each attorney and a current team.

Approved online
The firm approved the final design and chose a plan on a private approval page, signed electronically.

Launch
We moved the domain with no downtime for email and checked every page, redirect and form on the live site.
